Wisesorb 2 LBS orange to green indicating silica gel beads are beads of silica gel (desiccant beads) , used for absorbing moisture from the air to protect things that would be adversely affected by dampness. No harmful cobalt blue chemical in it, so safe for you to use. The beads can be reactivate by placing into oven to drive off excess moisture. The orange color indicator is convenient to judge when they need to be changed. Put silica beads in a zip-lock bag with your small pill box for travel to keep your meds from getting wet and expiring in my backpack. Dry squash seeds for next year, a wet carbide drill bit, pocket knife, moist garlic from the grocery store, and other things in the beads. And when they turn green, just pour them into a cake pan, and bake at 200?F-250?F (do not over 250?F) for 0.5h-3 hours.
